Be prepared on your wedding day with a printed wedding program, listing your bridal party and the sequence of events. Your wedding program will help guide your guests throughout the ceremony, as well as being a memento of your wedding. Customized with your picture, your wedding program makes a great favor, and your guests will appreciate the help in identifying "who's who" during the service and in following along with the proceedings.

All wedding programs are custom made to suit our clients needs. If you have a specific idea or theme in mind please contact us.

What do I include on a Wedding Program?

You can include an order of events, identify the members of the wedding party, specify the time, date and place of the ceremony, your officiants name, titles of music played or any special readings. And you can also list the names of your musicians, soloists or readers. Optional items can be included as well such as: special "Thank You's" to parents, special messages to the wedding guests, explanations of special religious or ethnic wedding traditions, and/or special poems or readings.

When you have your information ready (or are ready to place your order to reserve your production date), Cherish Paperie will take a $50 non-refundable non-refundable deposit to begin the design process and order any papers accessories that are necessary to handle your order.

It normally takes about 5 to 10 business days for the staff at Custom Programs to prepare a PDF rough draft, which can either be emailed or faxed to you. At that time, we ask that you make any initial changes and check for spelling errors. After a thorough review (by you), you?re asked to either fax or email back your corrections.

Once corrections are made, we will print out an actual mock-up of your invitation/program and mail you a sample. It?ll be complete - with the paper, ink & ribbons of your choosing. At that point, you?ll be asked if there are any additional changes you wish to make.

Once you have signed off on our sample, we will send the job to production. No additional changes can be made after production has started.With that in mind, we ask that you check your sample thoroughly.It is a good idea to have a third or fourth party look over your sample for errors or possible changes.

We do require full payment before your order is sent to final printing and shipment.For your convenience, we can use your non-refundable deposit credit card number or another method of payment.

As a last reminder - it’s best to start the design process early.You can always add additional text (or information) later.Our production schedule fills up fast – so reserve your space by planning ahead.

How do I place an order?

We try to make the ordering process as simple as possible. There are 3 ways you can order:

1. Complete our online order form

2. Fill out our PDF order form and fax or mail it back to us.

3. Submit your information in a Word document to

Please note: Text for program should be provided by email. If you want us to typeset the text there is a typesetting fee. When typing your program text you do not need to worry about tabs, spaces or formatting, we just need the text. You can provide by email in the message body of the email or as an attached word file.

When can I expect my first proof?

After a rough draft has been completed, a proof will be faxed or sent in PDF format by e-mail for approval. Please allow 5-10 BUSINESS days from the date all information is received.

PLEASE NOTE: Proof delivery times may be longer if you have submitted your program information on or after the "due by" date listed on our website as orders are normally processed on a first come first served basis - you are "getting in line" behind customers who have placed earlier orders. Keep in mind we will never take a job we cannot fulfill - once your proof has been processed and sent to you the rest of the process goes pretty quickly - the PROOF stage is usually that longest part of the process.

How long does it take to receive an order from the time I place my order?

Depending on our current workload, you can receive your programs or invitations within 2-6 weeks after ordering. The breakdown is as follows and all times are approximate. Some orders may be done faster or slower depending on the quantity ordered and the complexity of the job: 

Week 1 (Days 1 - 10):
You place your order and get a confirmation. Initial proofs take 5-10 BUSINESS days. We take a $50 non-refundable deposit to begin work and order any cards or papers needs for your job.

Week 2 (Days 7-14):
The proofing process - - back and forth with you on minor tweaks and changes. This generally takes 1 day to about a week depending on how much information you might still be waiting for (songs, readings, correct spelling of names, etc).  

Week 3 (Days 14 - 19):
We sent out a printed mockup or sample of your program or invitation.  At this point, you?re asked to make any changes or corrections which may have been missed on your initial proof or give us the final approval for printing.  

Week 4 & 5 (Days 20-30):
You review the final PDF proof (if there were changes on the mock-up) and okay it.  Final printing is normally done the same day.  However, for Thermography and Letterpress, add an additional week.   Assembly takes approximately 2 days for programs and 5 days for invitations.  Your order is then shipped upon completion - via FedEx Ground (or expedited, for an additional fee). A tracking number is sent out to you for your convenience.

Can I get a photo-ready copy and print my own programs?

Since each program order is unique we prefer to see all orders through to completion of the printed piece.

Are there additional or hidden fees?

The only fees we charge are specified on the pricing page and vary according to the information you want included on your program.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment (all major credit cards, personal checks and money orders) Credit card orders can be placed over the phone or using our Online Secure Server. Online orders can also be handled via PayPal's secure payment page ( the email address to send PayPal payments to is You can mail checks to the address listed on the contact page.


I need my programs tomorrow! Is this possible?

In some cases expedited service is available. Please contact us for options.


Do you provide programs in other languages?

Although no translation service is available, we do provide programs in other languages, most frequently in Spanish and Vietnamese.

With regards to payment, am I obligated once I email the request or once I give the go ahead for final printing?

If for any reason you need to cancel your order we understand, however your $50 non-refundable deposit will not be refunded if you have already received a proof. There are no cancellations or refunds after a proof has been approved and sent for printing.

When is payment due?

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to begin the design process and will be credited against your final invoice. Final payment is due after you approve the final printing but before we ship. We must receive payment before your programs are shipped to you, we can keep your credit card information on file to process the final payment, or PayPal's secure site may be used to send your payment quickly to us and prevent delays.

I know I want a program, but I won't have some of the information I want to have included until closer to the wedding - can I still get a program in time?

We understand that you may not have all the information you give your guests as far ahead as 3-6 weeks, and sometimes wedding parties change at the last minute, we suggest you fill out an order form and contact us in this case, we can layout your program except for the missing elements to be added later and you will not have to pay the $35 rush fee.


I need my program in 2 weeks, will I be charged the $50 rush fee?

Yes, to avoid the rush fee, plan early at least 2 or more weeks before you want your programs as 3-5 days are required for production.

I OK'd the proof you sent me as a final product, but now I need to add or change some more information to the program that either you or I missed. Can I do that?

To ensure that your program is exactly what you want, we advise all clients that it is their responsibility to look over the program information carefully and let us know of any corrections. Any reworking of the program after you have accepted the proof as done, is subject to our hourly $45 rate.

Can I use a graphic or font that you do not have on your lists?

Yes, we have an extensive list of fonts and graphics that are not shown on the website due to space constraints, if you are looking for something in particular or you want the font to match your invitation please contact us for options, we may request a sample of the type. Or if you have another graphic or font you want to use, simply e-mail us the graphic or font file and we will implement it on your program.

Do you offer color programs?

Yes, color ink can be added for an additional fee to any of our programs.
